I started my Real Estate career as one of a group of three teachers who bought, renovated and sold rental properties in Toronto while we were teaching at Ontario’s largest Community College, Seneca College. After dissolution of the partnership in 1982 I became a licensed Business Consultant/Realtor with VR Business Brokers in Toronto. I was responsible for finding new businesses for Sale in the Toronto area and was quite successful in doing that.
I decided to leave my 20 year teaching career at Seneca College, and move out West. First to Vancouver and then to Victoria. After being with an Independant Local Real Estate company as a Realtor for many years, I decided to make a change and joined one of the premiere Real Estate Company's in the World, Sotheby's International Realty Canada.
On the RESIDENTIAL side, I have helped many more clients buy and sell single family homes, condos and town homes, rental properties, luxury homes, and country and equestrian estates. My areas of expertise have been in Victoria and Oak Bay, the greater Victoria area and up to Shawnigan Lake for recreational property. As a teacher it was my job to listen to and educate my students and prepare them for real world applications. As a Realtor my job is very similar. To listen to my clients, educate them, negotiate for them, and deliver the best possible outcome for them whether buying or selling.
